Charlotte North Carolina A Great Place to Visit

There is a lot to do in Charlotte North Carolina. There are many things to do there that you can not experience anywhere else. Not only do they have the best malls to go to but they also have a lot of NASCAR teams in the area, as well as the Lowes Motor Speedway that hosts many events during the year.

If you are a NASCAR fan, Charlotte has 2 major races every year. The first one is around Memorial Day at the end of May here you can spend an entire week at the track with many events going on daily. There will also be a parade downtown Charlotte that you can go and watch the NASCAR drivers there. Also be sure to check out Speed week downtown where they have venders and drivers and live bands as well a huge variety of food there. They will close down streets to hold this event and it's getting bigger and better every year. The next race is in the fall. This is a great time to visit Charlotte with the temperatures being lower it's a nice time to sit at the track.

Lowes Motor speedway also holds the auto fair twice a year, spring and fall, you can see all kinds of vintage cars, buy yourself a vintage car, and walk around the inside of the track to see everything.

Across from the speedway there is also a dirt track that you can go watch the dirt track cars. This is inexpensive way to enjoy time with your family.

There is a huge mall North of Charlotte, Concord Mills Mall is a mall that every member of the family can enjoy themselves there. There are many places and restaurants there that you can eat and then even take in a movie. This is only about 2 miles from the speedway. There are also many motels there that you can stay at.

There is an amusement park Carowinds on the south part of Charlotte. This unique park is located on the North and South Carolina Border. You can cross over the state line many times at the park. They have rides for adults and kids there. This is a great park for the little kids they have many rides for them. Their water park is one of the best places to go to enjoy a wonderful day in the sun.

Charlotte has many places to go out to at night for the nightlife. There are many clubs that you can visit and dance all night long.

If your kids want to learn about science and nature visit the Discovery place downtown and they will have a blast there learning about everything. From time to time they do have exhibitions there that are always interesting and educational.

Charlotte is a great place to visit, and you will never be bored there. There is always something going on in Charlotte North Carolina.
