Treasures at Thrift Stores

You can find all kinds of bargains at thrift stores. They have many hidden treasures just waiting for you to find. No matter what item you want to buy a thrift store somewhere has it. They not only have clothes, but many other great items.

You can get a suit for under $20 bucks at a thrift store usually. These are name brand suits that have been well taken care of. Sometimes you can find the clothes with tags still on, these are unworn, and at a fraction of what the outfit cost at the store. If you go on a day that they have a sale your discount on the clothing is even better. Back to school shopping is great at a thrift store. Many of the clothing there is almost brand new, you will be shocked to see the name brand clothing there that looks like it has never been worn before.

They have games and DVD there that are always a great price. You can get a game for the family for just a few bucks. DVD's are always in stock, with many choices for movies. There is even software for the computers. They usually have many computer parts, and whole computer systems at the store that are for sale.

If you are furnishing a home you can find many things there that will help you. From Kitchen table and chairs to bedroom dressers, all can be found at a thrift store.

Antiques are always on displayed there and there are many valuable items there that you can pick up cheap if the people working there are unsure of what they have. Paintings that are worth thousands of dollars can be found for under $10 bucks there. You can find old dishes, old glasses, and old furniture there just waiting for you to pick them up.

Once I found a Burberry coat there it was $4.25. Obviously the workers didn't know what the coat was. I took it to a cleaners and had it cleaned, and sold it on eBay for $750. That was a bargain that I absolutely loved. I have found new jeans there that I resold on eBay, these still had tags on.

Old games are easy to find at thrift stores, they can be resold for a nice profit. Many of the old games still have a lot of the pieces still in there, but you do want to check and make sure.

People donate many things at thrift stores, jewelry, collectables, and new clothing. If you haven't been to a thrift store lately, you may want to go to your local store and check out the merchandise, you have a treasure waiting for you there.
