Writing
I love to write. It relaxes me and makes me fee good after I write something. But somedays I have problems thinking of topics. It seems that all writers once in awhile seem to run out of topics to write about. Hopefully if you have writers block it won't last too long. There are many places that you can find great topics to write about and that will get your creative juices working again and you can get some great articles written quickly.
Here are some great tips of what to do when you have Writer's Block.
Finding Topics
Finding topics is sometimes the hardest part of writing. Once you find a topic usually you can write quickly. Here are some great places where to find the topics.
Blogs: What are people writing about. You can find millions of topics just by looking over blogs. What seems to be interesting to people and popular.
Morning Talk Shows: If you ever listened to a morning talk show you will notice that they cover allot of topics while they are on the air. Usually this isn't local topics but topics that can apply to anyone, anywhere.
News and TV Talk Shows: Both of these have great topics and vary their topics.
Internet chat rooms/Forums: This is where you can see what people are chatting about in real time. You will get ideals from here.
Article websites: Find out what is popular that other people wrote about. Don't copy their articles, your just looking for ideas.
Article Titles listing websites: The writers Block Blog has listings of many different keywords that can get your creative juices flowing. This website is update and there are many different topics that you can write about. It's a great place to start.
Emails: Do you get spam Email? (if you don't please contact me and give me your secret!).. Reading over some of the emails will give you tips of what to write about.
Sale Ads: Yes even the ads that the stores send out can be used to write articles. Have you used any of the products that they have on sale? If you have- there is an article waiting to be written about the review of the product.
Photographs: Even family photos will give you things to write about, Where have you been? How did you get there? How did you entertain your kids on the trip there? Do you have any tips to save people money? Even Google photos can get you thinking.
These are just a few of the places that I use to find article topics when I have nothing to write about. Usually I just write a list in a small notebook that I carry with me when something hits me and I think that I can write an article out of that topic!
