You can find the Dollar stores are everywhere. No matter where you go, or where you live there will be a dollar store there. These types of stores will sell all types of merchandise for $1.00 for each item. Once in awhile you will find a bargain that will sell for 2/$1.00. And once in awhile there are products that cost more than $1.00 but not that many items. The stores are always very well packed with items. While most of these items are items that you will expect to be in the dollar store, there are some of the buys in the store actually worth a dollar. While most of the stuff in the dollar stores would be a dollar in most other stores also, it's always a treasure hunt in a dollar store.

I have found some interesting things inside one particular dollar store they had a collection of DVD's from the National Geographic Channel. The collection was a buck for a set of 2 DVD's. They had several different selections of different topics from the National Geographic Channels to choose from. These would be great educational or entertainment for the kids and they would learn from the DVD's or stock up to resell on eBay.

Harry Potter is always popular, once there was a shipment of Harry Potter journals for kids. It was hard covered and very cute for the kids and a great buy for $1.00. While knowing that people on eBay would pay more stocking up on them to sell there was the thing to do, so I stocked up and had an average selling price of $7.00 on eBay. I saved some for Christmas or birthday presents but the rest was sold.

Personal hygiene stuff can be found here if you don't mind wearing off name brands items such as deodorant or shampoo you can get great deals on personal hygiene items. They have a huge selection of choices they will even have medicines such as aspirin, band aids and first aid supplies.

In shopping at the dollar stores always compare the prices at chain stores to make sure you are getting the best deal. And check the quality of the stuff before making a purchase after all it's not priced this cheap without a good reason.
